The head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, and a delegation visited North Korea on a three-day business visit, where they discussed strengthening cooperation between Moscow and Pyongyang. About it writes Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
As part of the visit, which lasted from March 25 to 27, Naryshkin met with the Minister of State Security of the DPRK, Lee Chang De.
“The participants exchanged views on the current international and regional situations surrounding the Korean Peninsula and Russia, and also widely and seriously discussed business issues to further strengthen cooperation in response to the tightening of espionage and intrigue by hostile forces“, the agency reports.
The publication noted that the meeting took place in a “comradely and cordial atmosphere”, and the parties reached a common position on the issues raised.
