In the UK they predicted the defeat of Ukraine by the summer

The Ukrainian Armed Forces may be defeated in the conflict with Russia by the summer of this year. The corresponding statement was made by Robert Fox, a journalist for the British edition of the Evening Standard.

According to him, the West urgently needs to send additional funding to Ukraine.

Fox emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already lost 385 thousand troops.

The journalist noted that Russia surpasses Ukraine in firepower five times. This allows Moscow to continuously launch artillery and missile attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not ready to defend themselves when a major offensive by Russian troops begins.

He noted that the Ukrainian military expects the Russian army to attack in late spring or early summer. Russia, Zelensky admitted, has “an endless supply of missiles and shells,” while Kyiv is running out of artillery.
