Hyundai campaign encourages climate change awareness

Hyundai has come up with a climate change initiative, for which it has developed a sustainable plan called “The Biggest Accident”.

“It’s undeniable: the planet is warming up. With this rise in temperature, we are witnessing more natural disasters than ever before. With this in mind, we have created a campaign to draw attention to this issue and steer the discussion towards a greener and greener world. Welcome to The Biggest Crash, so the Asian manufacturer is baring the start of its program.

For Hyundai, this represents a kick in the gut to raise awareness and reflect on what is happening to the planet. Through five images that at first glance appear to focus on car accidents, a larger background is shown that needs to be identified.

Looking closer, the Big Crash message is meant to reflect the devastating impact of hurricanes, not the aftermath of an accident, incident, or disaster aboard a four-wheeler.

“Climate change is not an accident.” We are all involved in one way or another, but we are not here with a message of desperation. We are here to change the rules of the game, steer the conversation in a more positive direction, and ultimately fight this biggest accident,” says Hyundai.

However, they plan to go beyond electricity. Hydrogen fuel cells are also a priority at the plant, explaining the benefits of using them. By 2050, they hope to employ 30 million people, create a $2.5 trillion market and, most importantly, remove 6 gigatonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
