The 2024 GMC Acadia crossover has grown in size and become more spacious inside. The model was equipped with a new powerful turbo engine.
The new third-generation GMC Acadia was introduced at the Detroit auto show. The full-size family crossover is related to the Chevrolet Traverse and will be available in early 2024, starting at around $40,000. The car was announced on the official website of General Motors.
The GMC Acadia 2024 crossover has grown significantly – up to 5186 mm with a wheelbase of 3070 mm. The design of the car has become more brutal with a high hood and extended fenders. The huge radiator grille is combined with curved LED headlights.
The off-road version of the GMC Acadia AT4 received a more distinctive plastic body kit, underbody protection and special 18-inch tires, and increased ground clearance.
A virtual instrument panel and a large portrait touchscreen with a diagonal of 15 inches appeared in the cabin. The gear lever was moved to the steering column. The GMC Acadia crossover is offered in 6- and 7-seat versions, and its interior has become much more spacious.
In the top-spec GMC Acadia Denali, the interior is trimmed in perforated leather and wood, a panoramic sunroof and Bose audio system are installed, and the front seats are power adjustable and ventilated. Among the options appeared autopilot Super Cruise.
The new GMC Acadia is available with only one engine, but it’s more powerful. The 2.5-liter turbo-four engine produces 328 hp. With. and is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Model versions are available with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The GMC Acadia AT4 has a special all-wheel drive transmission and a stiffened suspension for off-road use.
