Lavrov complained that Ukraine and the West do not want to negotiate with Russia (video)

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that neither Ukraine nor the West wants to negotiate with Russia on ending the war. He said this at a press conference following the OSCE meeting in North Macedonia, according to Russian Tass agency reports.

According to him, certain agreements were reached between Russia and Ukraine in 2022, but then British Prime Minister Boris Johnson allegedly ordered Kiev to continue the war. As Lavrov noted, this was allegedly agreed to by the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arakhamia.

Moreover, the Russian diplomat said that the West is no longer hiding the fact that it will lose if it stops helping Ukraine. First of all, we are talking about the fact that the Russian Federation will not stop in Ukraine, but will go to war against the Baltic states and Poland.

“To start the political process, you need two people, just like in tango, but the guys on the other side are not dancing tango, but breakdancing. You need to be a soloist there,” Lavrov said.

Let us also remind you that Lavrov described US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and EU Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Representative Josep Borrell as cowards at the same press conference. According to the diplomat, representatives of Ukraine, Poland and the Baltic states ignored the OSCE meeting. Representatives of all delegations except the Russians were invited to the dinner.

It should also be noted that on November 24, Arakhamia said that not everything depends on Ukraine and Russia in ending the war. In his opinion, the unity of the Ukrainian people at the beginning of the war was extremely important. Intelligence agencies of various states reported that the Russian invaders were incapable of finding weak points that could tear the nation apart.
