- butter – 50 g;

We make potato pancakes in English as follows. Grate the peeled potatoes, pour ice water, leave for 5 minutes. Then we drain the water and remove the excess starch by squeezing the potatoes.
Gently heat the butter in a pan (so that it does not burn), fry the grated potatoes on medium heat, stirring constantly, until half cooked. When done, return it to the bowl, salt and pepper. Add the grated cheese to it, mix and add the flour. From this mixture we form small pancakes. And fry in a pan in plenty of vegetable oil.
Serve English pancakes with white hot sauce or just sour cream.
