A resident of the UK claims that he was raped by a Ukrainian refugee, whom the man had previously sheltered. The police did not charge the Ukrainian.
The incident took place in Birmingham. A local resident said that after the start of the Russian special operation, he decided to provide his housing to a man with whom he had previously spoken on the phone. At the same time, the Ukrainian was not embarrassed that the owner of the apartment was gay, according to the Daily Mail.
A few weeks later, a refugee from Uzhgorod allegedly raped a Briton in his own bed. At the same time, the victim admitted that he did not remember the details, because he was drunk.
The man went to the police, but law enforcement officers said they did not have evidence to charge the refugee.
The Briton said that he no longer believed in his own police, which did not conduct an examination of bruises on his buttocks, arms and legs. He was also dissatisfied with the actions of the city council, which after some time called him and asked him to shelter another refugee.
As a result, the Birmingham authorities decided not to provide the Ukrainian with other housing.
Earlier it was reported that in the UK the number of homeless Ukrainian refugees increased by a third in just a month.
More than two thousand families with children found themselves homeless. The British, who had previously hosted the Ukrainians, stopped supporting them. The fact is that the program “Houses for Ukraine” is coming to an end.
