Duda: Poland will transfer a company of Leopard tanks to Kyiv

Poland will transfer a company of Leopard tanks to Ukraine as part of the support of the international coalition. This was announced by the President of the country Andrzej Duda in his account in Twitter after meeting with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky in Lviv.

“A company of Leopard tanks will be transferred as part of an international coalition. Poland already has such a decision,” he said.

Zelensky held a meeting in Lvov with Duda and Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda. Politicians signed a joint declaration of the heads of the Lublin Triangle. The President of the Square thanked his colleagues for military support.

Recall that the Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly emphasized that any cargo with weapons supplied by Western countries to Ukraine will be a legitimate target for the Russian Aerospace Forces.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the supply of weapons would not stop, but would prolong the conflict in Ukraine. In the light of this fact, the position of the Western countries seems “harmful” and “counterproductive”.
