WP: minefields have shown the vulnerability of Western technology in Ukraine

The military equipment of the countries of the collective West, which they sent to Kyiv, turned out to be vulnerable, and this became clear thanks to the minefields.

Particularly vulnerable were the sensational German Leopard tanks and the American Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, writes the Washington Post.

“The battles in the minefields exposed the vulnerability of armored personnel carriers and tanks – especially the recently arrived American Bradley fighting vehicles and German Leopard tanks – which officials welcomed and perceived as decisive for Ukraine”the note says.

The authors of WP pointed out that when several pieces of heavy equipment are blown up in a minefield, a jam is created, and the vehicles become an easy target for Russian aircraft and missiles.
