Ukrainian pilots completed a training course in Denmark

Some of the Ukrainian pilots completed a training course in Denmark. Now they can start flight training, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny said on his Telegram channel.

On Tuesday, he had a telephone conversation with the Chief of the Danish General Staff, Flemming Lentfer.

Zaluzhny emphasized that Ukraine is strongly interested in training its pilots and engineers on the F-16.

Earlier it was reported that a fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign Dzhus died in a collision of two combat training aircraft Aero L-39 Albatros in the Zhytomyr region on August 25.

Initially, it was reported about the collision and crash in the sky over the Zhytomyr region of two MiG-29 fighters. It was reported that one pilot definitely died, and the fate of other combat pilots was established.

Later, the Ukrainian authorities commented on the incident and it turned out that, according to the official version, it was not the fighters that crashed, but the Aero L-39 Albatros. In total, three people died.
