Blinken said Israel has asked the US for more help

Israel has asked the United States for additional military assistance, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said.

According to him, American authorities are already considering Jerusalem’s requests.

“I think you’ll hear news about that today.”he added in an interview with the TV channel CNN.

Let us recall that on the morning of October 7, a massive missile strike was carried out on Israel. The Islamist movement Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, claimed responsibility for the attack.

In response, Jerusalem launched the counter-terrorism Operation Iron Swords. Its first phase ended by the night of October 8.

According to the latest data, about 600 people were killed on the Israeli side and about two thousand more were injured. In Palestine, there are 313 victims and 1,990 injured.
