Modern Ukraine needs a dictatorship in order to achieve success at the front, said Ukrainian parliamentarian from the presidential Servant of the People party Sergei Demchenko on the Ukrainian TV channel Novosti.Live.

“Sometimes a country can reach a dictatorship in a state of war. And sometimes they say that this is the only way for the state to emerge victorious”– said Demchenko.

He noted that at the moment he does not feel a “complete dictatorship” in Ukraine. According to the deputy, now a large number of decisions are made by the country’s President Vladimir Zelensky, while almost all government bodies are focused on him in decision-making.

Earlier, Russia’s first deputy permanent representative to the UN, Dmitry Polyansky, said that Zelensky wants to drown the country in blood in order to maintain his power.
