Mint Mobile is just one of many companies in Reynolds’ portfolio. In 2020, Diageo acquired alcohol company Aviation Gin, in which it holds an “unspecified minority stake,” for $335 million upfront and an additional $275 million based on the company’s performance over the next 10 years.
Diageo said Ryan and co-owner Davos Brands will maintain a “permanent ownership stake” in the company. He also runs the creative agency Maximum Effort. In 2021, Rob McElhenney, creator of Reynolds and Always Sunny in Philadelphia, bought Wrexham AFC for $2.5 million. That same year, his wife, Blake Lively, launched the Betty Buzz beverage line in partnership with Maximum Effort.
