Action star bodybuilders Dolph Lundgren and Arnold Schwarzenegger went to work out together at Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, California. A fan base gathered around. The Daily Mail writes about it.
Despite being outdoors, Gold’s Gym has the status of a legendary place. It opened 58 years ago and the membership fee was $100 per month.
Dolph and Arnold were filmed by multiple cameramen, so fans assumed they were shooting a documentary. Also in the hall was Schwarzenegger’s illegitimate son, Joseph Baena.
Although Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dolph Lundgren are action superstars of the past, they have only appeared in three movies together. And that wasn’t so long ago. The Legends met on the set of the Expendables trilogy (2010, 2012 and 2014), which grossed $804 million worldwide.
Sylvester Stallone then managed to fulfill the dream of many action movie fans: he managed to collect all the action movie stars of the 1980-1990s in one picture.
The fourth movie in the series will be released in the fall of 2023. The Expendables 4 will tell the story of the escalating nuclear conflict between the United States and Russia. It will premiere on September 22.
“This is a special series because most of the new action movies these days are based on superheroes and target younger audiences. So there’s no blood. Nobody gets killed. People are banished to another universe. But The Expendables are old-school. Unfortunately, people get blown up.” and they shoot and these are real fights and real tricks,” Lundgren said in an interview.
Earlier, the star of the movie “Rambo” Sylvester Stallone gave a candid interview in which he talked about his friendship with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The careers of the actors are very similar and they competed throughout their lives. Stallone’s movie “Rocky” managed to win an Oscar, but Schwarzenegger became governor of California. So now they obviously have nothing to share.
Stallone jokes that he and Iron Arnie are the last two tyrannosaurs, so it’s better if they stick together.
