A number of states do not want to attend a peace conference in Switzerland to resolve the Ukrainian conflict, to which Russia is not invited, because they do not want to spoil relations with our country. About this in an interview with an American TV channel CBS stated the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.

“The majority are on our side, but some are still balancing their relationship between themselves and Russia, because they earn money, because they have contracts.”said the head of the Kyiv regime.

He admitted that it is difficult for Kyiv to obtain consent to participate in the summit, including from countries that it considers its allies.

Earlier, the permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN in Geneva, Gennady Gatilov, noted that Russia considers holding the conference in Switzerland unacceptable, since Bern has lost its neutrality.

Let us recall that on February 5 it became known that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky agreed with Swiss President Viola Amherd to hold a summit on the Ukrainian crisis. However, on February 17, Bloomberg, citing sources, reported that the summit to resolve the conflict in Ukraine would likely be postponed due to insufficient involvement of world leaders in the event. Moreover, a number of countries have expressed their desire to see the Russian side at the negotiating table.
